Jung Woo Sung In Talks To Star In Sequel For Film “Steel Rain”

Jung Woo Sung is in talks for the film “Steel Rain 2 – Summit” (working title)!
On June 5, the actor’s agency Artist Company revealed, “Jung Woo Sung is positively reviewing the casting offer for ‘Steel Rain 2.'” Currently, Kwak Do Won is also in talks to star in the film.
Directed by Yang Woo Seok, “Steel Rain” is about a powerful North Korean figure being moved to South Korea due to a coup.
The film covered relations between North Korea and South Korea and nuclear war, gaining 4.55 million viewers as a result. Jung Woo Sung played the role of North Korea’s most elite agent Uhm Chul Woo, and Kwak Do Won took on the role of Kwak Chul Woo, South Korea’s chief of foreign affairs and national security.
“Steel Rain 2 – Summit” will continue to build upon the world created in the first film and include the story of South Korea’s president, the president of the United States, and the top officials of North Korea.
As with the previous film, distribution company NEW will be in charge. The upcoming film is scheduled to begin filming in the second half of the year after wrapping up casting for the leads.
