Upcoming JTBC Drama Shares First Stills Of Ong Seong Wu And Shin Ye Eun As Long-Time Friends

JTBC’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Chances of Going from Friends to Lovers” (literal title) has released its first stills of Ong Seong Wu and Shin Ye Eun!
“Chances of Going from Friends to Lovers” will be the romance story of two friends who fall in unrequited love with each other across 10 years. It will be a story of a girl who hides her true emotions after being in love for so long and a guy who finally realizes how he truly feels.
The new stills show Lee Soo (Ong Seong Wu) and Kyung Woo Yeon (Shin Ye Eun) walking down a narrow alleyway together. Lee Soo is the king of self love and is someone who is selfish when it comes to love. He is a talented photographer who can be cold and aloof. Once long-time friend Kyung Woo Yeon starts catching his eye in a different way, his peaceful life starts to take an unexpected turn.
Meanwhile, Kyung Woo Yeon is someone who doesn’t know that much about love and is perpetually stuck in unrequited love. She is a calligrapher and someone who will see things through till the end once she gets hooked on something. Maybe it’s because of that part of her personality, but she’s been in love with Lee Soo for 10 years without him realizing. It’s then that she finally gets the chance to take her love from unrequited to something more.
Ong Seong Wu said, “I’m working so well with Shin Ye Eun. She has a clear energy that makes you feel happier when you’re with her. She’s very in tune with her emotions, which is similar to her character Kyung Woo Yeon.” Shin Ye Eun said, “Ong Seong Wu always approaches me first and is so considerate so that we can express the comfortable relationship between two long-term friends well. He’s very focused on even the small details, and he’s an actor who is passionate about making every scene his own.”
“Chances of Going from Friends to Lovers” is set to premiere in September.
