JTBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama “More Than Friends” has released a behind-the-scenes video!
“More Than Friends” will tell the story of two close friends who both fall in unrequited love with one another over the course of 10 years. Shin Ye Eun will star as Kyung Woo Yeon, a girl who decides to give up on her one-sided love for her guy friend after a decade of pining. Meanwhile, Ong Seong Wu will play Lee Soo, the longtime object of Kyung Woo Yeon’s affection, who suddenly starts seeing her in a different light after years of friendship.
In the video, Shin Ye Eun and Ong Seong Wu are taking pictures together for the drama’s first set of posters. The photographer tells them that the concept for their shoot is photo stickers that look like they took themselves at a studio. They’re asked to express a wide range of emotions, the first one being happiness.
Shin Ye Eun thinks of a pose, which Ong Seong Wu tries himself. Shin Ye Eun asks, “Can you wink too?” Ong Seong Wu responds, “I can’t wink,” and he struggles to keep one eye open. The photographer loves their poses and encourages the two.
Shin Ye Eun and Ong Seong Wu continue to try out a variety of poses and facial expressions, acting out anger and sadness.
Next, the two change into school uniforms for their next set of photos. Ong Seong Wu pretends to be annoyed with Shin Ye Eun’s enthusiasm, and he poses reluctantly.
Props are then brought out, and the actors look through the different accessories. Shin Ye Eun says that they should choose an accessory for each other and pulls out a colorful wig. Ong Seong Wu quickly responds, “I’ll choose first.” They decide to play a game of rock-paper-scissors to decide who goes first.
Shin Ye Eun loses and says to Ong Seong Wu, “It’s always funnier when you wear weird things.” He responds, “I don’t want to be funny.” Shin Ye Eun then says, “That’s why I have to make you look funny.”
Shin Ye Eun and Ong Seong Wu decide to put on some other accessories first, and they pose with headbands and colorful sunglasses. After showing off great chemistry, the actors successfully wrap up their photo shoot.
